I guess you could say I just really like taking photos, never get tired of it.  From childhood looking at National Geographic magazines, there was always a fascination with striking photos and the stories they could tell. You can get lost in them, escape for a bit. That`s a good thing in our often nutty world.

 

Lots and lots of miles driven mostly in California and Oregon have yielded quite a few photographs over the years. Photography keeps me mostly sane ( I like to think :) ) and every photo adventure is always different than the last. Nothing stays the same so you never quite know what you might come across. Different times of year, weather, time of day etc, it`s all different for how an image or scene will look in the end.

 

I`ve won many ribbons, including blue ribbons in state fair photo competitions, had some images published by National Geographic over the years too. It`s always such an enjoyable feeling when someone purchases a photo from you and when they share a connection they have or a memory the image evoked. This is especially so when selling at art shows and having the personal interaction. Knowing that these photos will go in their home, that`s a neat feeling. Thank you to all of you that have been customers, it means a lot.

 

Yep, I just like taking photos, I get to see the world the way I want to with my camera and usually that means in a more positive light. Hope you enjoy having a look.
